The Placenta's Role in Cardiac Neurodevelopment

Prenatal

Placental abnormalities are common among fetuses with CHDs. By better understanding the nature of these abnormalities, clinicians have an opportunity to better predict outcomes, and possibly to intervene to create better outcomes. This webinar, produced by the Congenital Heart Academy, explores current understandings of the placenta and cardiac neurodevelopment, and offers exciting ideas of next steps in both research and clinical applications.
