Parent-Child Attachment and Heart Defects

The parent-child relationship is usually the first important relationship in a person's life. When this relationship is healthy and strong, children are more resilient in the face of challenges. These tools can help adults to understand and build a strong attachment with their child at any stage of development. A secure attachment can help children with heart defects, as well as their siblings.
